Academic Integrity & Assessment Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 29 October 2026 · Last updated 29 October 2026
1. Principles
A Platinum AI Academy certificate is meaningful only if it reflects the learner’s own work. We expect honesty, fairness and responsibility in every assessment.
2. How you are assessed
Each programme lists its own requirements. These may include lesson completion, lesson quizzes, module tests, practical activities, assignments, a capstone project and examinations. Pass marks are shown with each assessment (module tests currently require at least 70%). Work may be marked automatically, by AI-assisted grading against a rubric, or by faculty, and AI-assisted grades may be reviewed, moderated or overridden by authorised staff. A certificate is issued only when every requirement for the programme has been met.
3. Using AI in your work
Learning to use AI well is part of our curriculum. Unless an assessment says otherwise, you may use AI tools to research, brainstorm and improve your work, provided the submission reflects your own understanding and you disclose significant AI assistance when asked. Where an assessment prohibits AI or outside help, that rule applies. See our AI Use & Responsible AI Policy.
4. What counts as misconduct
- Submitting another person’s work, or AI-generated work presented as your own where this is prohibited.
- Impersonating another learner, or letting someone take an assessment for you.
- Sharing answers, test content or assessment materials.
- Manipulating the platform, the AI Tutor or the grading system to obtain marks.
- Falsifying project results, evidence or competency information.
5. Investigation
Where misconduct is suspected, we will tell you what the concern is, give you a fair opportunity to respond, and reach a decision based on the evidence. Automated flags alone are not treated as proof.
6. Outcomes
Depending on seriousness, outcomes may include a warning, a requirement to resubmit, a zero mark for the assessment, withholding of a certificate, revocation of an issued credential, or suspension of the account.
7. Appeals
You may appeal a grade or misconduct decision within 14 days by emailing info@platinumaihub.com with your reasons. An appeal is reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision.
8. Credentials and verification
Each certificate carries a unique credential ID and QR verification. The verification page shows the record captured at issuance. A revoked credential will be shown as revoked.
